I mean, don’t blame a northeast based band for playing a majority of their shows in the northeast. I mean it’d be like asking a sports team if they had the option to play more away games. Your west coast NYE run is a thing never to happen most likely. Furthur is west coast, phish east…..

West Coast gets no love. The small number of shows they do play sell out in 5 minutes, thus making it even more difficult for West Coast fans because there are barely any shows and they’re a 20 hour drive away from each other (i.e. Gorge > NorCal) and you can’t get into them even if you do make the drive. How about an SF NYE run? How about a West Coast fall tour? Something … anything.

I would rather drive the 4 hours to New York than see Phish again at the Boston Garden. The sound in that building SUCKS ASS and the band knows it – hence them playing once and once only there.

I believe they were “not allowed back” to Hilton Coliseum in Ames, IA. I was at that Friday show 10-1-99 and that had a poor public reception due to goings on in the parking lot.
Love the Target Center too. 10-2-99 is still on the short list of my favorites after 87 shows. That would be great for all of the northern Midwest fans.

Turning the arena into PHISH’s YEM CENTER for 3 days would be the best venue since the MOTHERSHIP REUNION @ HAMPTON! I have been a Louisville resident my entire life and attended Big Cypress, Coventry, and Hampton among countless other shows. This would be the best thing to happen in to the Louisville Music Scene EVER! Looking forward to your visit whenever it may happen, buy NYE YEM CENTER would be PHANTASTICLY PHUN!
