  1. Not sure what these venues are because Summer tour is announced.

Since Watkins Glen is its own entity with its own ticketing, the next festival will be announced on it’s own. The August 17th weekend is still wide open

      • Allstate is awesome 18,500 is the right size for a 3 night run for phish in chitown. 10800 too small for uic . 24k go uc wouldn’t sell out

McCormick place has a 10k venue Too. Too small. Phalllstate will melt faces and the sound is awesome. I got 96 shows under my belt and have been all over . It’s comparable to msg no question now with the upgrades !

        • Awesome hotels 10
Minute walk for 90 bucks a night for suites with kitchens . Plenty of restuarants near by. The best I live 15 minutes away and it’s cheaper to get a hotel for 3 nights than uber No brained man. Listen to 10/31/95 icculus opener Clues what trey is trying to tell us

          • Yep you can stay in the city too and just take the Blue Line on the L to get back and forth to the arena

  2. The Wisconsin Sports Entertainment center apparently is convincing phish not to play outside in midwest this summer – looks like there will be a fall halloween run w shows in the new bucks arena and chi…

still shocked alpine didnt get any dates

    • Pretty sure part of the agreement of letting them rehearse in the Bradley Center this summer was to come back & be one of the first acts to play the arena.

    • Well, when the asshole overzealous cops and hick locals make it clear they want nothing to do with us dirty hippies, why should we do them the favor of spending our money in their community?

      • Ahh yes, lets call an entire population of people you have never met hick locals. You sound like such a nice and loving hippie. Why don’t you just stay home if the real world is too much for you.

  3. If phish does not play Chicago area I will never see them again. Im in my 50s now and its time to glide glide away………!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • They can’t get anyone to go because of the police state. 19k and 15k in 2015. Pathetic. Considering they used to sell out 37k a night in the 90s. Wallworth pigs are Nazis

Listen to 10/31/95 icculus opener Clues what trey is trying to tell us Last time phish played alpine they drew 19k one night and 14k the next in 2015 . It’s a police state and cops have checkpoints so people don’t go any more . Used to sell out 38k back in the 90s and 2000. No more. Wisconsin law enforcement is dumb . They didn’t even have one act last year and the bears are up to 15 bucks for a 20 oz. it’s not bad if u bus in from a campground. But don’t drive there … wallworth’s finest doesn’t know how to do the math for the overalll money pull in. Northerly is awesome if u get floor or bleachers. Otherwise forget it. U be watching the screen from the worth lawn ever. Allstate is by far the best venue in Chicago. Uc is cool but bad neighborhood and good luck getting an affordable hotel lol

      • Pre Halloween 26 27 28. Oct done deal mark my words. I would book your hote now. Lost walking distance and refundable They will sell out all 3 nights no question. Only played there 5 times since 95. It’s sacred to phish and I saw the dead there a ton of times early nineties. Another band that was never allowed to play the United Center. Jam bands aren’t allowed. The closest u get is gilmour waters. Radiohead and pumpkins. Pj Long time ago

        • Tinley Park banned jam bands too. Not a bad venue but hard to get to and no tail baiting. They only want kid rock Alt metal and country shit now

  4. I have it on good authority (a friend who does security) that they have booked The Mother Ship. No date was given to this person, only that they had been booked.

  5. My uncle has a cousin who has a girlfriend who works in a coffeeshop with a guy who has a neighbor who has a roommate who works security at the United Center and said Chicago Halloween is a lock!

  7. Hampton is 10/19 through 10/21, I live in hampton and emassy suites and Springhill suites has been booked out for the whole weekend. Also my friend that works at the coliseum told me they were booked to play there in october but he gave me no official dates.

  8. No Alpine bc they only do Chicago or Alpine. If they do one, they never do the other. Alpine is my home venue, and I still think the lot ruins the experience for all. Just book a city, and I’ll show up.

          • Love Allstate. They have really fixed it up nice and I saw all 5 phish shows there plus The Who with Eddie Vedder a couple of years ago. Hotels are within walking distance and very reasonably priced . There is plenty of restaurants and the boys love that place because of the legendary 10/31/95 Halloween show. I live 15 minutes from the place and it is my favorite venue hands down. Alpine is a police state . UIC is too small. Tinley Park sucks and hates jam bands and won’t book them. northerly lawn is horrible . Wrigley is ok but not ideal for a concert and the United Center won’t ever let Phish play there and the hotels are very expensive . It’s going to happen and will be my 103,104,105 shows. No debate . Lastly, I go see Northwesterrn, DePaul, and have seen he Illini there and they have definitely had a upgrade. What day you negative nelly uniformed noob? When is the last time you saw a concert there jk. Phish 1.

  10. The sound is amazing there ! Saw The Who a couple times and it was 100 times better than any venue within 90 miles of chitown noob!

  11. Kb – you make some valid points in a wildly self-centered way.
I’ve seen every Phish show there (at Rosemont) too excepting 03 when I lived out east (lucky me – kidding, got to see the BB King and Philly shows that year, plus Vegas).
Anyhow, plenty of people have seen 100 Phish shows. The Rosemont does get a bad rap. That said, the location is terribly relative to where THE BAND seemingly wants to play these days (in urban areas proper for indoor shows). If you had a friend in town, would you take them to Rosemont or downtown? – come on now…… UIC is small, which is a GREAT thing. The energy (which is arguably the crux of a concert experience) is tough to match in that place. Restaurants and places to stay – mmmmhmmm, think the west loop (or rest of Chicago) has you covered. United Center is a non-starter. The Wintrust venue that DePaul opened might be interesting.
If we bring outdoor theaters into the mix, which wouldn’t be the case for a fall tour, the World/Tweeter/Whatever Awful Corporate Sponsor they have in Tinley Park is AWFUL. May as well play in Iowa.
If you were at the 95 Halloween show, you know better than to get lawn at Northerly. That’s for fratboys. You get PAV at Northerly. Period.
Alpine is a different ball of wax. Similar to Northerly in that, you just don’t do lawn.
In short, I just HOPE Chicago gets a 3 night run.
We haven’t had indoor Phish in Chicago since 2011.

  12. Yeah what happened to Michigan in the fall. Lord, I will be good this time. pinky promise. Amen. IL here i come..

  13. I wonder if Phish will ever play Milwaukee’s new arena as rumored. I believe there was some deal worked out when they used it as a practice space pre-Bakers Dozen. Would also be so happy if they ever played the Van Andel arena in Grand Rapids again. Was booked, I believe a few years ago, but then Fishman had a baby coming so the fall tour was scratched. Spring tour? I can dream.
